| 説明 | The Tal Barahi temple on a tiny island on the Pokhara (Phewa) Lake was well patronized as is evident from the crowds you see here. Our boatman asked if I want to call at the temple but the sight of the crowds there was enough to put me off. I have very little interest in temples as it is, as I find the unnecessary fanfare there quite overwhelming, add to that burgeoning crowds and that is s sure no no for me. Added to that was the off putting prospect of getting out of and into an unsteady and rocking row boat and the fact that I would not be allowed to take pictures in the temple anyway. We asked the boatman to push on ahead without stopping. (Pokhara, Nepal, Oct/ Nov. 2019) |
