説明 | Larix laricina 'Craftsbury Flats' (Wolcott, VA) 2020 photo - Common Name: Larch or tamarack, Size at 10 years: 3x3ft., Light green needles, USDA Hardiness Zone 2, In Garden Bed HR-J15 for 7.9 YEARS (HLG). Planted in 2012.ACS: Larix laricina 'Craftsbury Flats' is a low, spreading, rounded form of tamarack with short branches and twigs holding light green needles. After 10 years of growth, a mature plant will measure 3 feet (1 m) tall and wide, an annual growth rate of 3 to 4 inches (7.5 - 10 cm).This cultivar originated as a witch's broom found in the 1980s by Greg Williams of Wolcott, Vermont. The host tree lived near Craftsbury, Vermont. Very often, this plant is seen listed and described with the misspelled named, L. laricina 'Craftbury Flats.'Location: Michigan State University, Hidden Lake Gardens, Tipton, MI.
