| 説明 | As we crossed into the Yorkshire Dales National Park it was time to check our calendars and work out which way to go! Wainwright didn't actually have three routes depending on the time of year however erosion in the area has meant that the National Park politely asks walkers to observe its suggested routes. They can't enforce it but they do ask nicely. One route – the December to April one – doesn't actually go via Nine Standards at all.
