| 説明 | NORTH SAN FERNANDO VALLEY - On the evening of October 10, 2019, a fire broke out in Sylmar during a Santa Ana wind event and burned through Granada Hills and Porter Ranch. Firefighters battled violent flames in extreme fire weather conditions, as nearly 18,000 homes were threatened by the wildfire. Ultimately, the fire consumed 8,799 acres and destroyed 19 structures, while damaging 88 others. One civilian suffered cardiac arrest and died at the hospital.
