| 説明 | The 2019 Global Forum on Modern Direct Democracy took place at the National Chung Hsing University in Taichung, Taiwan and was attended by over 300 participants from over 60 countries. During the Forum's closing session participants all together drafted a Taichung Declaration on Modern Direct Democracy. It listed 10 elements for a good direct democracy law and, against the background of continuing democracy protests in neighboring Hong Kong, was signed off "in love and solidarity with the people of Hong Kong." |
