説明 | Project Manager Tactical Network (PdM Network Modernization) wraps up Terrestrial Line of Sight (TRILOS) Radio new equipment training for the Florida Army National Guard 146th Expeditionary Signal Battalion this week, at Jacksonville, Florida. This is the first Army National Guard unit to be fielded with the expeditionary TRILOS Radio. TRILOS replaced the unit's much larger legacy at-the-halt High Capacity Line Of Sight Radio, which is nearing end of life. The rapidly deployable transit case-based TRILOS Radio is much easier to use, sets up more quickly and delivers a 12-fold increase in bandwidth and six-fold increase in range, which will greatly enhance capability for the unit's federal and homeland civil support missions. PM Tactical Network is also fielding the unit with the inflatable the Transportable Tactical Command Communications (T2C2) ground satellite terminal; Secure Wireless; Commercial Coalition Equipment (CCE); and the Global Broadcast System (GBS). |
