| 説明 | A diverse group of concerned citizens came to our Climate Politics Meetup to talk about taking political action to fight climate change. We discussed different ways to solve the climate crisis politically, from local activism to county, state and federal government initiatives. Featured speakers included Marin County Supervisor Damon Connolly, young activist Sylvia Potovsky of Sunrise Marin, Chance Cutrano of Sierra Club Marin and Jonathan Marshall of Citizens Climate Lobby Marin. They talked about the global climate strikes, the Green New Deal, the climate plans of presidential candidates and carbon pricing proposals. This free community event took place at Good Earth in Mill Valley on Sep. 25, 2019. It was hosted by Green Change director Fabrice Florin with Marilyn Price, Al Grumet, Tom Flynn and Kelly Horner.
