After a rally and speakers, they marched along the Gichi-gami shore then held a gathering at Lake Place Park had food, art, workshops, and music.The proposed Line 3 pipeline would transport oil from Canada across Minnesota to Superior, Wisconsin. Protesters say the pipeline would have the climate change impact of 50 coal power plants.This September, the Minnesota Supreme Court declined to take up challenges by tribal and conservation groups to the pipeline environmental review.
