| 説明 | This photograph of two Taranaki Alpine Club members was taken during a brief water stop at about 2100m up the North Face of Mount Egmont/Taranaki. The exposed ice on the upper slopes had an amazing blue hue to it.The freezing air killed the rechargeable batteries in my wife's compact camera so this was the only picture I have to remember today's climb. I'll pack a DSLR next time and hopefully it should cope with the low temperatures a bit better. |
