| 説明 | Another view of the driving trailer of the Series 100 Shinkansen bullet train preserved in the Kyoto Railway Museum, Kyoto, Japan. There are relatively few pictures of this particular class of bullet train on the web- most pictures are of the earliest 0 series or the modern futuristic design. A photo of this series of bullet train actually appeared on the outer carton of a Hitachi VCR (video cassette recorder- remember those?) which I had bought long ago, and I had thought that the picture was a mere simulation. Nice to see the actual train 'in the flesh' a couple of decades later. Detailed notes about the series 100 Shinkansen bullet train appeared earlier in this album. (see previous picture).
