| 説明 | It was not candy, but fresh fruit on sale which caught my eye in the Ameya- Yokocho market. Today, various products such as clothes, bags, cosmetics, fresh fish, dried food and spices are sold along the Ameyoko market street. The opening hours and closing days depend on individual stores, but the shops typically open around 10:00 and close around 20:00. Many of the shops remain closed on selected Wednesdays. I need to find lunch here and then quickly make my way back to my hotel as I have a train to catch later in the day to Kyoto, the next stop on my Japan trip. (Tokyo, Japan, Apr/ May 2019) |
