| 説明 | Waiting to enter the Shibuya crossing- this is a notoriously busy multiple track pedestrian (zebra) crossing at the Hachiko exit of Shibuya station in Tokyo, Japan. It was not quite as dramatic at that time of the day, but the sheer gridlock of humans on the crossing is said to be seen to be believed during rush hour, earning the crossing the name of scramble crossing. I have seen a similar crossing in the Causeway Bay district of Hong Kong back in 2012. (Tokyo, Japan, Apr/ May 2019) |
