| 説明 | A staff of Moldovan National army field artillery soldiers visits the 139th Regional Training Institute for a week-long seminar as apart of the State Partnership Program at Fort Bragg from Aug. 12 – 17, 2019. The North Carolina National Guard has partnered with Moldova for over 20 years as part of the State Partnership Program, which is created to foster military and civil sector bonds between former Soviet Union countries while conducting military-to-military and civilian-to-military activities to maintain international defensive security and to increase peace and stability across Europe. U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, the Honorable Dereck Hogan also met with Retired Col. Edward Timmons, Salemburg Tarheel Challenge Academy director and Maj. Gen. Greg Lusk, the North Carolina National Guard adjutant general to discuss the TCA, which is a NCNG program that provides at-risk teens with a second opportunity to change the direction of their life.
