| 説明 | A train from Aberystwyth climbs towards Devils Bridge on the Vale of Rheidol Railway on a misty, murky August afternoon. This narrow gauge line was nationalised in 1948 and operated by British Rail until 1989 - its only steam-worked operation after the mainline steam ended in 1968. The railway offers some spectacular views, and as can be seen from this photo, it would appear that the lineside vegetation is not allowed to obscure the vistas! |
