| 説明 | The Portland stone edifice is 55 Broadway, head building of London Transport and now TFL. Built from 1927, when completed in 1929 was London's tallest building. Designed by Charles Holden for Frank Pick. Has numeroius sculptures around it, most noted are "Night" and "Day" by Jacob Epstein. "Day" caused much controversy in it's time due to the size if the genitals, and it is rumoured that some of the length was removed to please! |
