| 説明 | Damnoen Saduak market visit done and a visit to a wat (Buddhist shrine) complete, we are now well and truly out of the main Damnoen Saduak floating market now. We may be out of the worst tourist trap areas of the market- the central main market with that large shed- but we are not completely out of the woods just yet. We still have the newer areas of the market, and I have my eyes set on one particular stall with a lovely lady in it who had a truly authentic tuk tuk model- not the garish gold or silver plated ones on sale in most stalls with garish purple or blue wheels. These were like real tuk tuks. We will get to that later, but on the way, it was nice to pass one more of these true supply boats- this one is hauling fresh fruit. Our boat was moving fast, and I was in a depression due to the U shaped hull, and I cannot turn so much due to my ample midriff but this is the best I could get under the circumstances. I can make out mango, banana, and mangosteen, but there are other local fruit in the boat which I could not identify. (Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, Thailand, Oct. 2018) |
