| 説明 | This time tomorrow I expect to be in Limerick City and I hope to spend four days photographing the city and the county. If you care to suggest a good location for me to visit please do so.Last year on the train to limerick I met two nurses returning from London and they suggested that this statue of Terry Was one of the worst that they had ever seen and based on my photographs I would be inclined to agree.About a month after my visit Gardaí were asked to investigate a crime after the €60,000 memorial sculpture of Terry Wogan was discovered “defaced”. According to reports in local media two messages which appeared on part of the statue have been removed by the local authority workers. One message, which was written in white, read: “Terry was a big strong rugby man not like this little chap.” A second message read as follows: "COUNCIL COCK UP”. If you are not from Ireland you may not realise that ruby is a religion in Limerick. This 2019 visit I intend to use three Zeiss Batis Lenses - 25mm, 85mm and 135mm [maily because they are light] and I may bring a Voigtlander 40mm. |
