| 説明 | 1961 Cadillac headlight control knob with housing bezel and faceplates removed. This "LIGHTS" knob controlled headlights, fog lights, parking lights, instrument cluster dash lights, the intensity of instrument lights, and courtesy/dome lights.As the control knob was rotated, this metal shaft would move and the gear behind it would move as well. Protrusion off the metal shaft prevented the knob from being overturned. If the control knob was turned counterclockwise, the protrusion would strike a thin piece of metal at the bottom. Continuing to turn the knob to the would force the metal strip to move downward and would turn on the dome light/courtesy lights for the car.In "Forever Knight," Nick's Caddy would have had this style for the knob and ring knob. |
