説明Kabul - Maj. Rebecca Eggers, wife of Capt. Daniel W. Eggers who was killed in action, 29 May 2004, and whom Camp Eggers is named after, received a flag from members of Camp Eggers during a ceremony for fallen comrades on Memorial Day May 31, 2010.A ceremony held in honor of all fallen comrades of all wars and all nations is held at Camp Eggers, Kabul, Afghanistan. During a speech by Lt. Gen. William B. Caldwell, IV the question is asked, what does it takes for a regular citizen to rise to the challenge and be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice in service to their nation. Caldwell answers the question with: the values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless-service, honor, integrity, and personal courage- adding that each and every nation shows these values in their service to their countries. Ending thoughts from Caldwell – let us all use this day to focus our thoughts and prayers to cherish the memory of those loved and lost in the defense of our nations. Camp Eggers is headquarters to NATO Training Command - Afghanistan. A special thanks to MAJ Eggers, wife of Capt. Daniel W.
