| 説明 | New Zealand.The E83W 10 cwt (half ton) light commercial vehicle was built by Ford in England from 1938-57. Not only sold under the Ford brand, but also like the tractors, the Fordson brand, and also the Thames brand. The E83W was manufactured along side the Anglia and Prefect Saloons. The E83W was visually quite different, but did share the engine with the Saloons. The E83W was equipped with a very low ratio differential, making them much slower than the saloons, but giving them far greater torque, aimed at the small haulage, trade and merchant market. Mainly available as a Van but also a Flat bed Pickup, Estate Wagon and the odd Step side Pickup (less than 20 known to exist in the World). Also many specialist variations such as mobile canteens, ice cream vans and even fire pumps were built on the E83W chassis.The E83W was also sold in Australia, known there as the Ford Ten TenEngine; 1172cc 30hp sidevalve 4 cyl . |
