説明 | The 50th Expeditionary Signal Battalion-Enhanced provided a demonstration to the Deputy Commander of the XVIII Airborne Corps late last week, at Fort Bragg Army Base, highlighting the ESB-E's new lighter, agile, scalable network equipment prototype package. The Army is using Soldier feedback from the ESB-E pilot to inform ESB-E network capability design decisions. This 50th ESB-E provides communication support to the XVIII ABN Corps, including the Global Response Force, which can be tasked with forcible-entry parachute assault into hostile, high-threat areas. The end state ESB-E capability package will enable ESBs to provide communications support to commanders and paratroopers en route in an aircraft, to small team-sized units in initial entry operations, and it can scale-up to support mature operations as supporting forces continue to grow on the ground.
