| 説明 | One final tunnel and we are in the Sacred Monkey Forest proper. You can see a couple walking just ahead of me. Now considering that the man is wearing something red, which sometimes excites some animals and the woman is showing much skin, hence exposing herself to more biting area for the monkeys, I guess we should be Ok. The simians indeed do not appear to be a danger- my guide assured me once again the the monkeys here in Ubud are ok, it's only in a forest in Lombok, elsewhere in Indonesia, that they are aggressive. The path through the forest goes in a loop so this tunnel actually passes under the path we will take on our way out. (Bali, Indonesia, May 2018) |
