| 説明 | Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 10701 East Blvd. in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States.Known informally as the Wade Park Division, the structure was built in 1964. It was later named for Rep. Louis Stokes.In 1999, work began on a $500 million expansion and renovation of the facility. The work included a new 800-car parking garage, clinical laboratory, rehabilitation center for the blind, and warehouse; a new two-story atrium at a new main entrance; the addition of two floors (for optometry, mental health, audiology, and dental services); an expanded ICU; renovation of four patient floors; expansion of the radiology unit; a 20,000 square foot expansion of the mental health unit, with psychiatric emergency room; a $102 million, 370,000 square foot patient tower; creation of a long-term spinal injury care facility and comprehensive rehabilitation center; construction of a $131 million medical office building with 2,080-space parking garage; and construction of a 122-bed dwelling for homeless vets. The massive project was completed in 2014.The Wade Park Division is rated for 660 in-patient beds, although only 586 are in use. It has a 177-bed assisted living facility, and a 180-bed nursing home.The Wade Park Division served 112,348 veterans in the Greater Cleveland area, and in 2016 had 11,826 admissions and 2,022,636 outpatient visits. It had a total of 5,240 employees. |
