| 説明 | I was taking a walk by the Fox River in Illinois when I looked down and saw this snake crawl out of a hole. The snake was about 1 inch in diameter and came out hissing. As he slithered and hissed he crawled over both of my feet so I know he was about two feet long or a little longer. He then stopped while on both of my feet for a quick send and then quickly slithered right into the river, that’s when I snapped this shot. This is the first time in my life that I have seen a snake go into a river. He then quickly swam or slithered in the water to under a rock in the river.He never coiled up, looked at me or showed signs of aggression other than the hissing sound he made before going into the river. Can someone tell me what kind of snake it is? I am also positive that he had no rattlers. |
