| 説明 | This is the former Town Hall in Cromer dating to 1890. I think it is a solicitors office now.Current occupier is Pope & Co Solicitors.It is a Grade II listed building on Prince of Wales Road.1890 by George Skipper. Brick with painted front. Tiled roof with gabled ends.2 storeys. 5 bays wide centre bay projects again with pediment with tympanum containingscene with sailing ship. Moulded eaves cornice with dentils. 1st floor brickpilasters fluted and rusticated with 2, 3 and 4-light mullion windows between with3-centred arch heads to lights. Ground floor central 3-centred arch doorway withvoussoirs and small rectangular sashes with drip moulds over. Between 1st and groundfloor rectangular moulded panels containing shields and cartouche at centre overdoorway, containing inscription "Town Hall 1890". Moulded string courses and plinth.Brick chimney stacks over gable ends with cornices. The south end gable is treatedas pediment with chimney breast running through and 2 windows either side similardesign to front.
