| 説明 | Tupare Gardens. Tupare garden surrounds the Arts and Crafts home of Sir Russell and Lady Matthews who built their Tudor inspired house in 1932. The house is not usually open. The exotic European tree plantings and floral landscapes of Tupare are today maintained by the City of New Plymouth. Wander through secluded garden rooms, past elegant borders and beside majestic trees and the landscaped banks of the Waiwhakaiho River with its Japanese maples. From a few vantage points you can even see Mt Taranaki. |
