説明 | NASHVILLE, TENN. — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers participated in collaboration in an interagency training exercise with U.S. Army unit, 326th Engineers from Fort Campbell that included the demolition of a 450-foot radio tower at the Old Hickory Lock and Dam area April 17, 2010. The exercise included 326th Engineers and helicopters from Fort Campbell, Ky., U.S. Coast Guard, Army Reserve Military Police, Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency, Sumner County Sheriff’s Department, Nashville Metropolitan Police Department and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel.As part of the exercise, a 450-foot radio tower and two 100-foot towers at the site was demolished using explosives. This marks the first time that Old Hickory Lock and Dam has hosted an interagency exercise that supports Homeland Security. |
