| 説明 | Friendly staff of the Kopi Luwak centre- hope they treat the animals well. These are the ladies who greet you in the parking lot and then walk you through the delightfully lush garden explaining the various cash crops grown there. I kept asking them repeatedly if they treat their palm civets well otherwise I am not buying. They assured me all is well, and showed me two massive room sized cages for the animals- each palm civet or luwak had a large cage all to himself but was content curling up in a dark box above ground level and sleeping through the day- these animals are largely nocturnal. The two friendly ladies flash their smiles for the Nikon while their friend brews another cup of kopi luwak or cat-poop-ccino for an elderly couple who came in later. The coffee was super strong and very good, but was rather expensive at $ 5 a cup. (Bali, Indonesia, May 2018) |
