| 説明 | Spring Time - Private Daniel Rutherford from the First Mentoring Task Force, on patrol in the village of Sarregin in the Mirabad Valley Region.Community engagement was the order of the day for soldiers of the First Mentoring Task Force (MTF1) when they recently patrolled in the Mirabad Valley area with MTF1 commander, Lieutenant Colonel Jason Blain. The patrol through Sarregin village was designed to enhance the relationship between Australian troops and local farmers by providing an opportunity to informally chat about local conditions.The soldiers were well received by the local farmers who pointed out that they welcome regular patrols as they helped deter insurgents in the area.Patrols of this nature have become commonplace for the troops of MTF1 as they continue to build relationships with local populations in the province.
