| 説明 | LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles FIre Department held a Girls Camp on September 15-16, 2018 at the LAFD Frank Hotchkin Memorial Training Center in Elysian Park. Girls age 14-18 were given an opportunity to see what it takes to be a Firefighter for the City of Los Angeles. With personal guidance from female LAFD Firefighters, this two-day program was filled with team building and camaraderie, excitement and fun, and plenty of opportunity for hands-on activities with actual firefighting tools, equipment and protective gear. Attendees were able to gain confidence and new friendships as they worked in teams while exploring new challenges.
