| 説明 | Today marks the 50th anniversary of Apollo 8 reaching the Moon. For the first time, humans could see their home planet from a different perspective. To celebrate this event I've scanned and cleaned up four transparencies which were given away as a premium gift inside Nabisco Sugar Puffs during 1968. These are four from a set of six which fortuitously turned up last week in a box of model railway bits. The superb Sixties sci-fi artwork style is very striking and colourful and captures some of the mood of excitement and trepidation as three brave men hurled through the frozen waste of space on a journey that had never before been made. |
