| 説明 | Grade I listed building in Hampshire. 14th century barn by St. Leonards Chapel. Stone structure. When complete was probably the largest barn in England. The external measurement was 210 ft. x 70 ft. Divided into seven bays. Described by William Cobbett thus: "The ruins consist of part of the walls of a building about 200 feet long and about 40 feet wide. It has been turned into a barn, in part, and the rest into cattle sheds, cow-pens, and inclosures and walls to inclose a small yard." |
