| 説明 | I am now awaiting boarding on the wooden platform waiting for my elephant to arrive- I feel sad and guilty about it now. My profound apologies to one and all- I really do not know how I talked myself into it, as I have serious reservations about riding elephants and the damage it causes to their backbone. I probably fell for the glib talk of the ticketing clerk and my guide and the prospect that the elephant ride with safari tram (bus) ride gave the best value for money. My apologies- it will never happen again. My guide was not allowed on the ride and took this picture. I am at the far end looking out for my elephant as most other elephants had already departed and they had to call for one more for me as I was the only guest still left. (Bali, Indonesia, May 2018) |
