| 説明 | Eentje uit het archief.Dutch/ EnglishWaarom en waar vandaan "De Boogjes"? Vroeger liep op deze plek de stadsmuur. Aan de buitenzijde van de muur bevonden zich gebogen gemetselde bogen met een gesloten achterwand (De daadwerkelijke muur). In (onder) deze bogen woonden mensen of waren kleine neringen opgezet.. Meestal waren het gezinnen. Deze mensen behoorden tot de armsten van de armsten. Als gewone man had je geen stadsrechten en mocht je je ook niet zomaar in de stad bevinden. Je was geen burger van de stad, geen poorter. Bij de stadspoort hield het dan ook voor je op. En de kooplieden dan?
