| 説明 | Today near the GAFCO.The day started like this: hanging out at YS's, drinking coffee. The discussion of breakfast. Me thinking, hmmm... I don't really have the time -- I wanted to get my act together in order to drive down to SoCal. But -- breakfast -- sunday -- friends -- tug tug tug on my little i-can't-stand-to-miss-out heart. Okay, I say, two hours. Two hours max.This is cuz a greasy spoon in Morro Bay had been suggested.Breakfast was fun and afterwards I couldn't really see going back until we'd stopped briefly at the rock. At the rock were birders with huuuuuuuge telescopes, watching the peregrine falcons. We stopped, looked at the falcons, talked to the birders. Talked to the birders. Talked to the birders.Afterwards I said, can we stop really quick near the GAFCO? I want get such and such picture. Slogrl might have tapped her watch at that point wondering who it was that only had two hours?"TWO HOURS" became the mantra.I wanna make a quick pitstop, I said.TWO HOURS, they said. And we stopped.Oh oh oh, there are baby lambs at Cal Poly, I said.TWO HOURS, they said. And we pulled off on Stenner creedk to listen to the little bleetings.I know about this watering hole, said slogrl.TWO HOURS said Dan.Four hours later I got home.It was a fun morning.And I'm just now (6.5 hours later) getting ready to hit the road, making the journey to the OC. A journey that'll take a lot longer than two hours. |
