| 説明 | This started as a doodle in one of my notebooks, and rapidly grew into what it is now. I was playing around with suspension ideas, and hit upon the idea of putting suspension into an 8x8 space. The suspension here is rocker-style, with the front and rear wheels on each side connected. The beam connecting them pivots at the mid-line of the vehicle, and snap-back is provided by small braces rubber bands. It can hold quite a lot of weight on top, and with a baseplate is very stable. The only problem is that the wheels tend to spay sideways under weight. |
