| 説明 | We came across four of these magnificent insects yesterday.6cm (2" +) body I've only seen one of these before in late January 2008. We saw them flying yesterday and they look like a large black dragonfly but with a different flying motion. 14 Jan 2010: Update from John Oswald "The Stilbopteryx is "Stilbopteryx napoleo (Lefèbvre, 1842)". This species is strongly sexually dimorphic -- the male has the two prominent humps dorsally at the base of the abdomen, while the female does not."John D.
