| 説明 | This is all what remains of the The Fletcher Street Trolley also called the Smith line. The line existed between around 1892 and 1899. A 1896 map of shows the trolley tracks went from Buffalo to Niagara Falls. Although all I've read about this line it only went from Buffalo to the corner of Main and Niagara street in Tonawanda. This same 1896 map shows the Smith line going over the Erie Canal at Main St in Tonawanda and down Webster in North Tonawanda. All the old photographs I've seen of Webster St. during 1892-1899 time period clearly shows no trolley tracks at all. |
