| 説明 | solargraph using decaying pumpkin pinhole camera, paper negative, exposure from November 18 thru December 21, 2009, latitude: 31 degrees northHappy Winter Solstice, Everyone!What a hoot! The pumpkincam was falling apart as I hurried it back to the bathroom darkroom. I immediately placed the camera inside a plastic garbage bag as I carefully removed the top, and fished out the paper negative, which was submerged in pumpkin fluids. I rinsed off the negative, and fixed it with paper fixer. I immediately fixed the negative, because I wasn't about to put the slimy, moldy paper negative right onto the scanner. (no way!) This way, I could put a clean, dry negative on to the scanner.You can see the pine tree there off on the left. The vertical lines in the center of the image are pumpkin fluid stains, I gather. (as well as the vignette around the bottom) The orange blob in the lower left is mold on the negative.A photo of the pinhole pumpkincam is here. (it is now in the trash can. Farewell, pumpkincam!) |
