| 説明 | At night the buds open to reveal these impressive flowers. They remind me of some ostentatious bird, the fan of petals is quite incongruous with the plain green spikiness of the cactus column. They smell amazing, and curiously the scent seems to be restricted to the outside of the flowers around the sepals.To see these is the deserts of Latin America must be amazing. Here their effort is wasted. Two nights these flowers lasted, before wilting, unpollinated. |
