The event promises to elicit the aura in you with its stunning collection of attire in nine colours portraying nine emotions.Navarasa draws inspiration from the concept of navarasa (nava meaning nine and rasa meaning emotional response) in Natya Shastra, a Sanskrit treatise on performing arts by sage Bharata. Each of these nine rasas; shringara, hasya, karuna, roudra, veera, bhayanaka, bheebhatsa, adbhutha and shantha, has a specific colour.Navarasa will be a unique experience as it is for the first time in the history of fashion that the age-old Indian concept of navarasa is being modernised in the form of an exhibit of costumes in nine colours depicting the nine rasas. |
