説明 | Milady and I would like to share a relic of mitch'n'der history... and mythology...We had just recently met, and I wanted to take her up to a secret place that I really liked... so we headed out... except, I was having trouble with my old Datsun 310, which often didn't want to start. No problem, Michelle knows how to pop-start a stick shift vehicle, so we just had to make sure that wherever we stopped, we were on a slope. We spent the night at my secret place that I call The Grotto, off Peach Tree Road, East of King City. In the morning, she pop-started my car and we headed home... we didn't actually have any money for food, but I had a couple of cans of Mclintock's Trail Camp Beans in the car !! We stopped on the side of the road on a hill leading down to Hwy 101, and opened up one of the cans, using an old C-rations metal can opener that I used to keep on my keychain, for just such emergencies (!!)... we sat there and ate cold beans from the can, then went on our way... *never* have I had such a wonderful meal !! We still treasure that memory to this day !!!Well, that product vanished from markets many years ago, but I just found one left-over can in the garage... the can itself is bulging on top and bottom, but I was able to salvage the label...So here it is - a relic of our first feral meal together...I love my Wonderful Lady !! |
