On the plaque behind,FIR stands for Federation Internationale des Resistants , founded in 1951 in Vienna as an Umbrella organisation for various anti-fascist resistance groups with headquarters in Berlin since 2004.Possibly the memorial looks like this now?? I bet the streets aren't empty of cars now. |
