| 説明 | To my mind this was the middle of nowhere and I might meet the odd walker up towards the fells in the distance so it was a surprise to be passed by this shooting cart. I got a wave from the two chaps in the front as they passed me but the chap sat outside in the back (presumably the junior member of the party) didn't move - probably frozen stiff! I assumed they were looking for deer and were taking a scenic route to avoid disturbing a group they had sussed out earlier - if they were it was a couple of hours later when I heard a shot. In the background are the cliffs below High Street at the head of Mardale. |
