| 説明 | Yesterday she laid her first egg! and today another one!She has been acting rather strangely for a few days, perhaps it's the moon? It had been extremely difficult to persuade them to come up to their house for the night. In fact they spent one night on the island, this was worrying as there are foxes and bad cats about.Yesterday morning she was very put out at not having been let out earlier and dashed down to the bushes at the edge of the pond, followed by Goostave the worried father. Esmerelda routed around under the brambles and promptly laid an egg. She sat on it for a while, then they waddled off to the banana tree and glided accross the pond. Chattering away, something about room service being late and how was she expected to do any laying and brooding in a pesky bramble patch!.......Do let me know if you are an expert goose fancier, help!- This is a summer photo. Usually white, her undercarriage is covered in brown slime as the pond was low and dirty. |
