| 説明 | This posed cabinet sized image from Robert French looks like a picture postcard! It was probably taken for just that reason as Lawrence ran a commercial photography business producing cards and prints for publication. The ass just looks like an ass does, but I love the dog - a furry friend who looks like he is protecting his driver against all comers. Perhaps I am just a dog lover?Our cataloguer was perhaps less a dog-person, omitting the dog entirely from the catalogue title of "Irish Life: Irish Ass & Cart". Also omitted from the title or description was a location. However, based on the Cork Bandon & South Coast Railway poster clearly visible, and the fact that the images immediately preceding this are from the Kinsale area of Cork, there was some consensus that this is could Kinsale railway station.
