説明 | The bunched habit is evident in this individual of Alopecurus pratensis (the tussock at center with the largest leaf blades). Most of the time, Alopecurus pratensis intermingles with other wet site grasses, including Alopecurus arundinaceus, in dense stands such that this growth form is not readily evident. The spikelets at the distal ends of the inflorescences have dispersed leaving the narrow stalk ends seen here. This site is the wetlands of Alison Park, south of the Museum of the Rockies along the Gallagator Linear trail to Morningstar School, Bozeman, Montana. |
