説明 | The inflorescence of Alopecurus is distinct from that of timothy in that the spikelets shatter (disarticulate) below the glumes from the tip of the inflorescence to the base. Alopecurus arundinaceus inhabits riparian settings and wet meadows and typically stands taller than timothy grass. This site is the wetlands of Alison Park, south of the Museum of the Rockies along the Gallagator Linear trail to Morningstar School, Bozeman, Montana. |
