| 説明 | I grew up in central florida, so I received the "monorails are cool" Disney indoctrination early in life. The thing is, they really are, with lots of cost and construction benefits over light rail public transport. I was all psyched to ride the Vegas monorail, but between you and me, it was a bit of a dissapointment. The ride quality just wasn't what I think it should have been (not as smooth as it should have been), and it had some of the worst information design I've ever seen in public transport. Riders were constantly stumped about how the ticket vending machines, turnstiles, and system maps work. And yes, it takes a special kind of design gafaw to confuse people when you're talking about a metro map with only one line. |
