| 説明 | This sculpture has been created by Tony Cragg who has yet to find a title for it. It is made from red stone and is abstract on one level and anthropomorphic on another. If you look close you can make out human faces in these shapes. This work is on display in Tony Craggs sculpture garden which he set up on the site of the villa (and park) "Waldfrieden". The villa is from 1946 and based on anthroposophic ideas has been designed by architect Franz Krause for the entrepreneur Dr. Kurt Herberts. The latter was running a very successful company which produced lacquers. During WW II he protected ostrasiced modern artist from the Nazis. |
